Evening CHAMPIONS

I keep hearing, everywhere I go, that Sensei Ange usually uses his first season as a chance to get organised. That it is his second season where he really takes off. Well he has won a double in his first season so where does he go from here then? Is a treble a reality? Is qualifying from the CL group or winning a knock out round what we are after?

If he "only" wins another double will he been seen as a total failure then (joke) ?

I personally think next season is a total reset of this season. In that with automatic qualification to CL again we have to achieve that as the priority. We need to deny any other team in the league that opportunity. Some of us keep banging on about Europe, and for me it would be nice to do something. But, my word, that league is massive for us again next year.

I will be treating Europe as a chance for the team to gel further, make some progress, give the fans a bit of joy. I hope we go and do a mazy run and get a bit of success.

Buut we need that 53 in my opinion. as a priority.

HH.

Considering what he walked into, he must be very happy with the progress made and the success achieved, in such a short time. When you remember that several players arrived only in January, plus the fitness and injury problems over a few players throughout the campaign, it has been one the greatest achievements in our history. I'm really looking forward to next season and with players already out the door and others who are not in the plans, there could be exciting times ahead preparing properly for the CL with no quals.
