ED007 I see that Benfica asked Jota to come to Lisbon to assess his hamstring injury and then I read that they sacked their coach.
Rumours I heard that both the sacking and Benfica assessing Jota injury could prove bad news for us signing Jota in the summer as Benfica seem to want him back.
Does Celtic really have a good guarantee of signing Jota in summer.
Thanks for any info on this.

{Ed007's Note - It's quite normal for an injured player to return to their parent club for assessment and treatment. Who Benfica's coach is doesn't affect any possible deal for Jota - it will come down to the player himself - and I doubt a coach that has only got the job until the end of the season as Nelson Verissimo has will have any opinions or say on Jota's future.}

Just another example of the smsm trying to derail some of the feel good factor around Celtic ATM. I'm sure Jota went back to benfica as soon as he was injured as he wasn't at the cup final and as ed said this is the usual with loanees, the parent club deal with the injury treatment.
