Having had time to gather my thoughts, whatever they are worth ha ha, I think Ange has the team going in the right direction.
Some of our football at speed is breathtaking and it is a joy to behold. BUT for the amount of chances we make and dominate games we still miss far too many chances, which give the opposition hope or a dodgy decision by the referee to pull us back.
This season also in particular, will be decided by referees IF we allow them to influence it. We MUST put our chances away when we dominate games then if we are 3/ 4 goals up it eliminates the "honest mistakes" or the "phantom" extra 7 minutes at end of our games if we are only 1 goal ahead.

Agreed Tim. Going I at half time 3 nil up the game is done. Some shrewd recruitment in the window for a playmaker and another striker and we'll start hammering teams I'm sure.

Said last night we can't seem to kill teams off and it's a worry, you aleats need that 2nd goal and it's a problem we have, maeda for me massive upgrade on abada and mj.

Been relying far too much on Kyogo and Jota these days and goals from midfield or even set-pieces have all but dried-up, although we have not been capitalizing on the vast amount of corners we usually get for far too long. Turnbull only seems to score when we are coasting although hopefully JF and Rogic will get back to their best soon? However, I think it's obvious we need more firepower and game changers in the squad as the bench is very limited in that area.
