I actually enjoyed last night lads what a different team. And the Germans new they had a better team playing them than last time.
Nobody has mentioned turnbull imo he offered nothing again in Europe.
I thought he should have been hooked at half time to strengthen us.
Still like the lad but in Europe he's not ready yet.
Domestic he's a star he needs to do more.
Last night kyogo jota forrest where all helping our defence then subs came on offered nothing ange could see this clearly last night.
The first 11 last night are our heart of the team replace rogic when fit with Turnbull ( give him a rest) then ange gets player who strengthen us from the bench whr offer more in defence and attack. We are nearly there. I understand why the subs got made and what the logic was but Mccarthy offers nothing imo.

Turnbull is our most attacking midfielder and there was no one on the bench to replace him.
Rogic could give him a rest when he's fit again.

Playing multiple "attacking midfielders" in the SPL is one thing, but the level increases in Europe, so we can't really do that. However, our options are limited.

Scoring goals has not been a big issue, as we've scored 10, and out of the 32 teams in the groups only 7 other teams have managed that total. However, we are the worst defensively, where we have conceded 13 goals.

Given that we've only conceded 9 goals in the SPL this season may lead you to believe we're solid defensively. The results in Europe tell a different story.

Turnbull doesn't seem to have a clue when it comes to defensive duties, and is, therefore, more than just a passenger in Europe, but a liability. If Celtic play with three up front, Turnbull is either one of the three, or doesn't play. He sure as hell ain't no midfielder.

In Europe, we need to be well organised, hard to break down, and that requires midfielders playing like midfielders. They must be well coached, disciplined, aware, and alert. I don't think that describes any of our midfielders.

I know it's easier said than done but Turnbull needs replacing with a more athletic pacy midfielder with a better eye and skill for a good through ball to compliment Kyogo's style for me. Kyogo is forever making runs that a good through ball would have him in on goal that he is never receiving. Rogic is better at them but he is also limited where I feel both players are not fast enough and both are not strong enough with their "weaker" foot Hopefully Ange has someone like this in mind.
