My take on the ticket allocation, any team that makes the final should get half the tickets, I know some of our season ticket holders miss out but we go there every year whereas for some clubs fans it's a once in a blue moon event, if you want a comparison we took 80,000 to Seville but whilst our away support is phenomenal it's nowhere near 80k for away European games.

I agree.

Totally agree it should be 50/ 50 as long as both teams are able to sell their allocation.
Giving one club a larger share is similar to giving them an unfair advantage.
Both teams played the same number of games to get to a "Neutral Venue" Final.
as an aside.
WE complain about how we are treated by the organisers of the Champions league where the 4 "big leagues" are allowed 4 places (3 automatically) each.

@PTFP, what you're saying is because we're successful and turn up at games we should let fans of other clubs go to possibly their 1st game for years instead of us. Aye no bother. As for the Seville comparison, 55,000 went there knowing there wasn't a chance of a ticket. I'm sure nobody would grumble if the extra 8000 ticket less Hibs fans came to Glasgow for the day.

The big elephant in the room that plays a huge part in the allocation of tickets for any Cup Final is the shambles that is our 'national stadium' has a capacity of less than 52,000 seats.

Hibs sent tickets back for their game on Sunday…. They are lucky they got 17500.

Any hibs fan who doesn’t get a ticket for the final should look themselves in the mirror and say do I deserve a ticket when I didn’t bother about a semi final! And theSpfl need to take a better look when allowing clubs like st Johnstone to sell tickets because thousands of fans missed out due to them selling tickets that left huge gaps between their supporters behind goal and south stand.

{Ed007's Note - There'll be plenty of Celtic supporters who turn up because it's a final as well.}

That's true Ed, how they get tickets is another gripe of mine too?.

{Ed007's Note - It's really just down to who you know at times.}

Too many tickets go elsewhere when it comes to those games. I remember Seville, I think the capacity was 52,000 and Celtic and Porto each got 20,000 so there's 12,000 going to UEFA sponsors etc already, out of the 20,000 Celtic got only 12,000 were distributed to Normal ST holders.
