Ange is trying his utmost to modernise Celtic in anyway he can.
Already our players are praising our new head of Sports Science Anton McElhone.
Nowadays it's a very important job to get the fitness balance right, especially with the high intensity in which Ange wants his players to perform.
I read that from the start of this season, Celtic started using an American company who specialise in predicting if a player is at risk of picking up an injury.
Every player wears a GPS vest in training and games and that data gets sent to this company.
The data is then analysed by the company using their calculating system.
The company is in constant contact with the clubs and they send Emails if any of the players are in the injury "Danger Zones".
The first European football club to use the company was Spanish side Getafe and they have confirmed their injuries have decreased by 70% in the 3 years they've been using the American company.
The majority of the clubs wish to remain anonymous in an effort to protect any competitive advantage this performance tool may provide.
Sevco however started using the company last season and they were happy to tell the world in an interview last year.
The Sevco head of performance mentioned that using the company had been a valuable addition to their injury prevention strategy.
It should be great for Celtic and it could help with player rotation Etc.

It looks like it hasn’t worked with McCarthy. In my opinion he has been a very poor signing. Just to make it worse someone decided to give him a Four Year deal, unbelievable. There are better and younger Scottish midfielders out there that we could have signed.

Hail Hail
???.

Or perhaps the new formation has worked for McCarthy and the system being used is protecting him after his C. V nightmare.
Normally he would be thrown in at the deep end but that wouldn’t have helped James or the club moving forward.
McCarthy is on a 4 year deal and he’s had a slow start because of his sickness, which means our fans need to stay patient.

He's had one hell of a job since walking into the rubbishstorm he inherited. A shambles of a Board. Mocked as an Aussie Pedro. Unhappy players wanting out, More Board room upheaval. Rebuilding a squad. Involved in transfers. Laying out his ideas and a vision for now and the road ahead. What he's achieved so far is astonishing especially after 3 away losses from Livingston Hearts and Sevco and 2 heavy European defeats yet we are all excited about now and what lays ahead. Im so fecking glad EH didn't have the bottle. When we lost those games i was hoping to be about 6 points behind going into the Jan Derby game. A few new signings and it would be game on. With them playing away to Hibs Aberdeen Hearts in December then us on the 2nd of January hopefully the 6 points behind could turn out to be far better far far better in our favour.

Buzz I hope he gives Shaw a chance. He looks a class act and offers more than Soro.
