I can't understand why we weren't more active in the transfer window, I said in a earlier post a few injuries and we would be threadbare, maybe a few loan deals might have helped and leaving everything to the last minute wasn't great either we should have been getting people thru the door much earlier.

What's the point of having a youth set up, if you can't turn to it, in times like these, the young players introduced so far haven't let anybody down, just because they are our young players doesn't mean they aren't good enough to step up.

wee brought 12 players in that's a whole new squad how many more did you want in. youth needs a chance wee have young players in our squad who are more than capable of standing up to the task. you don't always have to pap money at stuff. look Ralston and Montgomery a right back and left back right under our nose al they needed was a chance and a bit of faith now people are debating that Ralston should not be dropped and young Montgomery offers far more than Taylor. wee have a top player in McCarthy who has not got up to speed yet he is a player who has been playing at the top level since he was 18 he will get a chance to show tomorrow now with McGregor out.
our 3rd choice striker scored 2 at the weekend wee look a lot better at cb in depth and quality with CCV added we have a top goalkeeper in joe hart wee have more than enough in our squad every one is more than capable step in and do a job.

We knew it was a massive rebuild and the club done well in the summer transfer window but Celtic still need to bring in another few players in January.

aindoh, the previous regime rarely gave the young lads a chance to show what they could do. I can understand that a lot of them weren't classed as being first team ready but I'm sure a few of them were if only they were given a chance.
They didn't have a league to play in and it's no wonder we lost quite a few of the promising kids out of sheer boredom if nothing else. Maybe Ange will be looking more closely at them but it's perhaps too early for him to be drafting them in for important games. HH.
