Am I the only one who has reservations about the Greek striker on two fronts mainly.
He has only had one decent season so far with goals
Secondly, and perhaps more important, his temperament. It seems he prefers to go to a second division German team where he will not be under the pressure at Celtic, if he signs for Bremen than we know it is only for the money so Lucky escape for Celtic.

I agree, mate. Don't get me wrong, his stats last year were great, but before that they were poor. We have had our fair share of Bayo's, Klimala's etc. I would say to anyone that thinks that at £2.5m it's not a gamble. it is. We are not that well off that we can spend that kind of money 'Hoping' he will turn out to be great. Move Eddy and Ajeti on and get someone 'Proven' in.

Anyone toiling over a decision to join us puts me off and I think that's why there are so many rumours of us looking at other options?

Don't blame the boy for trying to get best deal for himself he's been a bit part player at his previous clubs . last season has given him possibly his only chance of a big pay day move .

Bhoys/ Tim, you need to read some of the posts from yesterday on this lad.

Last year was the first season he's started, had a run of games in the team and he manages something like 29 goals in 32 games with the player who finished 2nd top scorer in the league getting sold for 30M+.

Celtic to us is everything in football terms, but it isn't necessarily the case for a guy from Greece who's been playing in Holland.
