Dermot Desmond does he just see Celtic as a cash cow. Doesn't seem that concerned about the mess we are in. Sold every good football player we have had. Never bothered about Europe.

I hardly ever associate DD with Celtic, day-to-day as he appears almost as rarely as Halleys Comet and we have seen/ heard very little of him since the repercussions RD's defeat to Sevco at Hamden; apart from the time he condemned supporters for the Celtic Park protests.
Last season was the perfect opportunity for him to flex his financial muscle and address the important issues dragging the club and the team to it's knees, but he chose to watch and do nothing.
I get the impression Celtic is way down his list of priorities?

We will always be a selling club as financially we are a tiny club unfortunately. In terms of Europe we can only attract top drawer players if we can offer Champions League football and that is getting harder every year!

onceabhoy 2 i've been shouting that desmond has lost the little feelings he had for the club and although he says its not for sale, i feel its not for sale because he knows at this time their is no chance he will get what he needs for the club if things were all rosie in the world of football and a good offer came i feel he would sell, i've heard he is going to let his son take the reigns but i doubt it, in fact i sometimes think it would be better if he sold but then i think he and his minnions have kept the club healthy, perhaps the city group but doubt it.
