Can someone explain why we've the biggest football stadium in Scotland yet we get the least amount of fans inside? Hampden had 12.000 at the euros, we get 9.000 tonight, and sevco are getting nearly 13.000 for a friendly against Real Madrid?

It doesn’t make sense Garry.
Sevco are being allowed 8,500 fans next Saturday against Brighton.
Less than 24 hours later the number of fans being allowed jumps up 50% to nearly 13,000 on the Sunday against Madrid.
Then at the end of the month they’re being allowed 17,000 fans for the opening match of the season.
I would like to hear how the Scot. Gov can justify the attendance at Ibrox, is being allowed to increase by 50% for a match less than 24 hours later.

Attendances at Wembley increased as the Euros went on, as time goes on attendances in Scotland will increase. What's the problem?

You would think Celtic FC would be asking those questions really but again tumbleweed is in place for THE SEVCO to gain more advantage.

The problem is malkybhoy Celtic are only allowed 9000 tonight whilst during the euros every game at hampden had 12000 yet our capacity is more. If we had 2000 against Preston, and it’s good enough for sevco to have 13000, why can’t Celtic, with a capacity of 60.000 not have more than the allowed 9000?

2000 is a base limit, clubs can apply for increased attendances. Hampden was given special dispensation due to the Euros. Attendances will increase as time goes on. If your no happy phone the Government instead of coming on here with the made up conspiracy theories!

Malkybhoy, at no point in my post have I suggested any such conspiracy theory, I simply can’t understand why during the euros hampden which holds around 50.000 got 12.000 fans in, we hold around 60.000 and tonight get 9.000 fans and next week sevco who hold around 50.000 are allowed up to nearly 13.000 fans…… what I’m simply asking is why when we have the largest football stadium in Scotland are we only allowed 9.000 fans when last month hampden had 12.000 next week sevco get 13.000 and in between we get 9.000? No conspiracy here mate.
