See if the Belgian side are blatantly going to flip Hendry for a very tidy profit, probably over 5m surely Celtic coukd talk Hendry into rejecting the Belgians and selling him straight to the EPL side and offer him some cash as a sweetener, just means he'll end up at club he wants with a cash bonus and we make the profit.

{Ed007's Note - Jack Hendry couldn't care less how much Celtic get paid for him and it would probably cost him some of that money as it was him that pushed for the option to buy. Celtic fans need to forget about Jack Hendry, KP.}

Gotta agree with Ed007, don't think he would give a damn. Sadly in my humble little opinion I see Jack Hendry as just another in a long line of young/ youngish players at Celtic who either get signed in from elsewhere or “come through” the youth ‘setup’ with no real path of development/ plan ahead of them.

{Ed007's Note - Hi mate, it's good to see you posting 👍

Well hello to you too! Been a while. think i've been away long enough to have banked up a decent word count allocation to let off some rants!

Hope you been keeping well? Liking the podcast idea, need to get caught up on em! Well done to all involved getting that up n running!

{Ed007's Note - Cheers mate, I'm doing OK thanks and I hope you are too. The podcasts are going well and if you ever fancy a rant on them let me know and we'll get it sorted.}

Can't blame Henry for pushing for an option to buy clause, after he was pushed out on loan, without being given a proper chance in the first team, the question is who didn't see his potential, who was responsible for shunting him and thinking Duffy would be an improvement, who ever it was, if he is still at Parkhead, needs to be kept well away from any decision making processes, am thinking Kennedy would have had a big input, as he was a top defender, and might have been too influential.

{Ed007's Note - Hendry was never good enough to play for Celtic and still isn't. He played the same amount of games as Duffy so both got the same chance to impress.}

I remember watching hendry getting the ball at the back and the player closing him down and hendry went round in circles with the ball and they guy took it off him lol hendry is better away from us altogether.

He had plenty of chances, more than most kids get. He sh@t it. Good luck to him but it’s rare to get a second chance at big clubs.

I agree with you ed007 that JH won’t care about us, that’s why I was thinking about handing him a wee sweetener, he might not care about us but probably would care about his bank balance, I’m just thinking outside the box as I think we are going to need as much money as possible to sort our squad, you might of answered this before ED007 so apologies in advance but how many players do you genuinely think we need to bring in? As much as 8-10?

{Ed007's Note - Even with no major players leaving we'd need a minimum of 4-6 in the door but with the players we expect to leave it is pushing us into the kind of bracket you mention although I would like to see the likes of Luca Connell, Lee O'Connor and Ewan Henderson used to pad out the squad rather than buying squad players at a couple of million who are going to offer nothing except block our youngsters path into the first0team squad.}

Everyone thought Duffy was the second coming so never mind that.

Marco1888,
Was down at Partick Thistle. The whole crowd was laughing. He won't be missed.

When players go out on loan with a option to buy. Has the selling club no got a clause in it to keep player.
