🇩🇪 Bayern Club President, Uli Hoeness on the clubs season ticket prices.
🗣 "We could charge more than £104. Let's say we charged £300. We'd get £2m more in income, but what's £2m to us?
🗣 "In a transfer discussion you argue about that sum for five minutes. But the difference between £104 and £300 is huge for the fan. We do not think the fans are like cows, who you milk. "
🗣 "Football has got to be for everybody. That's the biggest difference between us and England. "
Perfectly put! 👏🏻.

i see were your coming from mate 2 million is nothing to Bayern that's a fact 2 million is a lot to Celtic though 2 million would pay possibly about 4 of our players wages for the season. 2 million would cover a Bayern players wages for the month. I'm not a season book holder so i can't really have a go really what those fans do with renewing but if a good majority of fans did not renew for our club and going into this season with minus say 15 to 20 thousand less season book holders we would loose out on 10 mill that would effect our rebuild this season massively plus champions league is not a cert either.

Bayern will have champions league money next season we that's a cert we are a club who depend massively on season book sales every income to us is vital there in position to speak that like and shrug off 2 mill

as is says i don't hold a season book so am in no position to call any Celtic fan wrong for not renewing but it will have a major effect on us if a chunk of fans don't and no other fans take them up either but i totally understand if fans are angry and choose not to.

It's alright saying that when you get overr 100 million from your share of a 1.6 billion TV deal.

£2 million loan fee, and £30,000 a week wage, is this right?, if it's right, who is responsible for this madness? .

at the time it was right aindoh everybody was excited for duffy and would have went mental if the board never got the deal done and im sure if it worked out it would have been made a permanent move with the 2 mill took in to account. so to use it now to bash the board is wrong.

I wasn't excited about it at the time, I hadn't seen enough of Duffy playing, I remember saying something at the time, like, as long as he is fast enough, and is not slow and cumbersome, or if I didn't post it, I was thinking it, I know it's easy to be wise in hindsight, but.

well you were in the minority as most were buzzing for him. loosing his old man and the toxic environment in the playing squad added a lot to his time not working out every player was rotten this season and i think if duffy had come in a season or two before when everything was fine he would have been a great player.

Duffy was on paper what we were all crying out for a “no nonsense centre half who could deal with the physical aspect of Scottish football” board can’t be blamed for Duffy IMO.

If our recruitment team had watched the 2 minutes highlights of Cardiff 2 Blackburn 1 they wouldn’t have went near him.
How Duffy played in that match, is what we’ve watched from him this season.
Sadly he’s one of the worst Celtic players I’ve seen in over 40 years of watching Celtic.
I would blame the recruitment team after watching that clip.

As UI said, Duffy was seen by the majority of fans as a massive acquisition. It turned out to be a disaster for all concerned but that wasn't down to Duffy on his own. The club will never keep every fan happy and there's no point debating a topic that can no longer be influenced just to prove a point.
He's gone and I'm sure I speak for the majority of Celtic fans when I say I wish him well wherever he ends up. HH.

buzz if scouts were going by a 2 minute highlight of Larsson first match for us then they would have missed out on a great player if that was the case.

Duffy was third choice at his club for a reason, it was a terrible personal tragedy for him losing his father, and if he was in such an emotional state by it that adversely affected him, it makes it all the more crazy that he brought here at that time, for that obscene wage,

United Ireland 🇮🇪
Watch the highlights and you’ll see what I’m writing about.
In all my years of watching Celtic,
I’ve never seen the same player score 2 own goals with their head and foot.
And then when he was on a yellow card, get himself sent off for kicking the ball away.
It was the Shane Duffy Show and a big difference from One misplaced pass.

United ireland, if your saying if Duffy signed under Rodgers it would’ve worked out then I’m sorry but that’s nonsense, we played out from the back and constantly had defenders passing amongst each other inviting teams onto us, he wouldn’t have been signed and if he played a game wouldn’t have lasted half an hour.
