Kept myself away from the site and haven't really taken in many games since January (out with old firm) . I'm ashamed to say I couldn't bare watching or participating anything involving the club due to the charlatans running and playing for the club.

I've seen many fans saying this is the same team that won the quadruple treble. That's not true this team has been downgraded continously since the first treble. We lost sinclair, moussa, Gordon, Foster, Tierney, lustig, boyata, Armstrong, Roberts etc. we have continously downgraded and never replaced with quality. We were that far ahead we became complacent. Rodgers seen that and gtf before he was blamed. Players like Tierney, moussa, Armstrong seen the quality of player reducing and moved on. The team that has played since the start of this season are but a shadow of our invincibles. This drop in standard along with poor coaching, poor recruitment, reduced player morale and poor boardroom leadership has cost us. I'm not a glory hunter but the team I support for as long as I remember will likely get one trophy a season, anything less is unacceptable. The team we had should have been strengthened for Europe instead of downsizing until we have the bare minimum to win a league, which we now no longer do.

Anyway that is now in the past, this season is now truly over. If rumours of howe and harkin are true hopefully we can start progressing. I suspect a minimum of 14 players leaving this summer (loan returns and transfers) . Lennoxtown will be quiet. And to be fair I'm glad 14 are going. The question is how much money can we expect how to be handed? Will incoming transfers occur before or after sales? What changes are happening in behind, scouting, coaching, analytics, fitness and sport science etc. this is a rip up the old model and start with a new. If we invest well the title will be back next summer. If we invest moderate with a longterm aim I'd be expecting at least a trophy a season (preferably the league) this should be the first time I've ever expected our club to truly show us outflexing the rest of scottish football with the finances we have accumulated over the last 10 years. Rangers shouldn't even be able to lay a glove financially as they've had little incoming in the grand scheme and there is only so much they can spend excessively. Hopefully a positive future.

Agree with your points mate except the old firm tag died with Rangers. We know now why Rodgers left and agree we have failing to replace departing players with quality. What I don't get is why we didn't use this downsizing project as a chance to bring through some more youth players. We keep hearing about how good some of these guys look yet they don't get a sniff.

Totally agree with you. The standards have dropped since BR left.

He stood up to Lawwell and he didn’t like it. If BR had still been in charge we certainly would not be in the position that we are in. TIAR would have been achieved.

It was obvious that he brought professionalism to the club and Lawwell didn’t like that, hence the reason that he is no longer at the club.

It seems to be that it is Lawwelll’s way or the highway and BR took the highway.

It would good to know the real reason that he left the club, he saw the potential and what could have been achieved.

I know all the old firm doesn't exist crap was going to come up haha Maybe not the old firm but still the same rivalry across the city, and that lot have been singing louder than us this year.

Bestybhoy what's happened to the likes of dembele (youth) , okoflex, Henderson, even hazard. In a season where the seniors can't cut it give the youth a chance. Nothinng else to lose. Certainly in January these young guys should of been playing every game for the rest of the season. We'd of known by May who would of made the grade.

I'd just like to here a manager and negotiations being done early.

Does anyone actually know anything that has been going on behind the scenes for the last few seasons.

Auf exactly my point because those games regardless what you want to joke and say still have meaning they are the rival games. They are the ones that you hope somewhere the attitude and the hunger exists. Clearly hasn't been the case. I knew in Janaury like any football fan with a brain that the league was gone. It was more the hunger I wanted to see in the team. Which wasn't the case.

As for faithful through and through. Aye its a song. If your wife was sh*gging the neighbour breaking the vows she signed up for would you continue to put up with it because your faithful through and through. No and if you did more mug you.

This club has NOT conducted itself on and off the field for what i've followed them faithfully for. I followed a team that tried to entertain the fans. That no one man is bigger than the club. There was a family and togetherness between club, players and fans. That the strip doesn't shrink for inferior players. Yet We have the likes of ntcham, ajeti, edouard etc. holding the club to ransom. We have players downing tools. We have a team filled with millionaires flying off to dubai during a C.V. breaking rules. We had a manager who was denying the actual problem and concealing it from the fans who have payed a £510 tv subscription. Forked out £65 for a top (not to mention the kids) . So I think I was quite entitled to turn off not to watch anymore.

With the clear out from lawell, lennon, Hammond (hopefully Strachan and maybe even Kennedy) , alongside a mass of want away players. I'm happy to switch back on and hopefully watch professionalism and players play for the club we support. I'm optimistic about the future I just hope the board have that ambition.

Yes faithful through and through is a song and some fans believe it others and glory hunters dont.

All fans are entitled to an opinion and i will always try and respect others but after 1 poor season in 10 plus years to turn your back on the club is glory hunting.

We have been embarrassing this year but i would never not watch us play. Maybe if we win a trophy next year the glory hunters will comeback.

I expect us to raise close to £60m if we have a clear out of most the deadwood and players on the last year of their contract if you count in the ones sold in Jan too. How much of that is reinvested is another story. What would fans think the new manager needs for a budget? Probably over £30m imo which is never going to happen.

My thought process is every game Celtic play means something. We have 2 games to go and i will watch both. HH.
