I personally didn’t take to Kennedy much the way he seemed to behave earlier in the season, regarding the way he seemed to leave lennie alienated . My view was he was as culpable as the whole team, however I must say it’s refreshing that he has put his head above the parapet to cal out the sfa and their strange decisions regarding sevco.
Gerrard thinks he owns Scottish football, and with them being successful this season he will become more arrogant. Some tit for tat comments will only ramp up the feelings before next weeks game. Hopefully it will stir up the team for next week, even though we have outplayed them the last couple of times without beating them we obviously need the win. Hopefully wipe a bit of the smirk of his face.

I think JK is handling himself well, still want a new manager but it wouldn't bother me if he keeps JK.

JK is by far an improvement from our last manager but for me he is not YET a Celtic manager we need a qualified seasoned manager not some one that is just learning his trade there is to much work to be done all over the club to put a rookie in charge And it needs to be some one fresh that has had no ties to the club in the past Because we have to change direction.

He has got the team creating chances and today for a change we took a few more than in previous weeks. However, I still stand by original view that he should go and learn his trade just like Tommy did at Kilmarnock and let's see what he can achieve, who knows if our next appointment will last months or years?

JK for me, should be away at the end of this season.

He's apparently rated as a coach therefore happy to see him take charge of the youth team should any incoming Head Coach agree to keep him on, but he should be nowhere near the first team.

I enjoyed the game today. Celtic looking a lot like we are use to. Wee jamsie bring width to the team has clearly been missed. Why we never addressed the lack of width in January is puzzling. Sadly wee Jamsie looks like he's done his Hamstring. Fingers crossed its not too serious HH.

JK had had a rough ride from some fans this season. Totally unfair in my opinion, he wasn't making the decisions. HH.

Nonsense Pedro but you're entitled to your opinion.
Tell us exactly why you feel he should be booted out?
Bearing in mind the fact that Lenny made the ultimate calls about who was playing and who wasn't, what is it about his own performance that convinces you he doesn't belong at Celtic?
Give us actual specific facts because if you're making a statement like that then you should at least be prepared to back it up.
It's not enough to bang on about him 'not being good enough' without bringing some facts to the table that are directly related to him and not someone else. HH.

he has done well since being the main man and my own opinion on him is starting to change on jk he certainly has steadied the ship but he has no given right just to be kept on as i would say some supporters think he should.

Agreed liam
My opinion (and it's just my opinion) is that he has had more of a positive impact in a few games than Lenny did in 2 seasons. The idea that he should be kept on is based on what we are seeing, not a blind sense of loyalty. Remember, Rodgers tried to take him to Leicester. He wasn't trying to do it because he thought JK was rubbish like some fans think he is. HH.

Yeah like a few others I don’t mind if he’s kept on it just wound me up a bit how when lennon was struggling he seemed to be all alone, even to the point where Kennedy just shrugged his shoulders. The main point was I’m liking how he’s standing up to Gerrard and rangers and calling them out. Be nice if lawell done the same before he left .

bestybhoy,
this site is, as far as I'm aware, about opinions, thoughts, views, rumours and discussion on all things related to Celtic FC.

John Kennedy has been very well supported by Celtic since his playing career was tragically ended before it really started.

In recent years, I'm unsure if either NL or RD had much of a choice but to accept that JK would play a part on their first team coaching staff.

In my opinion, any Head Coach worth their salt brings with them their own coaches, they are not dictated to by the likes of PL meaning JK either accepts a role with Celtic outwith the first team, or, should he wish to develop as a coach, takes a role with another club and perhaps returns to Celtic at a later date having tested himself elsewhere.

Again, this is only my opinion, if you or any of the other posters disagree, I can live with that 😉. HH.

Besty i think it's inaccurate to say he's had more impact than Lennon did in 2 years. Lennon won our Europa League group the previous year. But I have to agree on the discussion on JK. it's ridiculous to blame an assistant for a manager's implosion.

We need a manager that will improve players. BR improved almost everyone. We don't need a manager to beat livi 6-0 at home. That should be easy and a given for a celtic manager. Fair play to JK for getting results but I'm not seeing anything to suggest the team and players are doing anything more than bare minimum.
