What did you bhoys think of the Utd goalie today/ this season?

Would he be a useful back up keeper for us next season - must be an improvement on Bain?

{Ed007's Note - Siegrist has conceded 36 goals in 30 games with 10 clean sheets, Pedro whereas Bain's conceded 22 in 17 with 6 clean sheets.
We've said even since Rodgers time about how 'keepers seem to have the game of their lives against us and today that was the same but we must have missed more chances than he actually saved.}

He’s had 26 saves against us this season in only 3 games.

The whole team from back to front has been eratic at best this season, with the odd exception.

Bain is normally a decent GK, probably not a number 1 though. I am sure of those 17 conceded a decent proportion will be a result of our inability to defend a set piece.

Fair point Ed, I remember a few years back we got Zaluska from Dundee Utd and he probably fitted into that same category.

How do you see the goalkeeper scenario playing out for next season?

I reckon i would have kept a clean sheet today. He looks a decent goalie but today all his saves were very comfortable.

He's great with coming out for crosses but he's not a good shot stopper as his numbers will show.

He's made the most saves in the league this season by a long way so that blows that out the water.
