So was reading about how our poor form will affect both Scotland's and Celtic's own coefficient ranking. The season after next our champions were almost guaranteed automatic group CL entry and second place went into CL qualifiers, but the season after that our poor showing in europe will start to bite.
The coefficient is worked out on a five year cycle meaning the earliest year coefficient points drop off which was 7, if we do not win tonight we will finish on only 3 hindering our chances for years to come as this will drag us way down.
Nice one Lawwell.

Lawell doesn't play football thank the players.

If Lawwell had signed Forster, McGinn and Toney what a difference those 3 players would have made, all down to Lawwell penny pinching.

Has it not been proven that mcginn chose to go to England?

Don't think it's so much "penny pinching" it's the business model and his interference that is wrong.
We spend plenty on wages and transfers, we have all lost count of the number of 1, 2, 3 million pound players who pass through our doors without any impact and at a startling loss of money.
Spend similar amount on a third of the number of players and we will maybe start to compete at a higher level.

The Players have showed previously they can play better under Lennon.
Lennon has showed he’s incapable of turning it around. 2 wins out of 12 proves that.
The Board have inexplicably waited too long to change the management team.
Basically everyone inside Celtic Park have to take equal responsibility for this disastrous season.
No One Is Blameless.

The damage was done over a long period of complacency and short sightedness by our Board, who thought they'd won the Lotto in 2012; Only doing enough to dominate domestically, while buying cheap - selling BIG and European football was neglected as results (bar one or two) show this over the nine years or so since the birth of TRIFC.
No-one could have predicted the C.V. and subsequent events, but we have shown poor preparation and planning for years before that.
If reports that Lawell will leave at the end of the season are true, he (like the previous manager) , could have been immortalized but the way things are going he'll be lucky to escape torches and pitchforks.

McGinn got fed up waiting on us, if we paid what they wanted early doors he would have came. And would now be playing every week in place of Broony. When Lawwell ballsed that up and started signing players like Shved that's when things started to go pear shaped.

Chinks67. Shved made 2 appearances, with 1 goal in the Champions League after coming on as a sub. He was never given a chance. Maybe a new manager will bring him back.

{Ed007's Note -Mechelen manager Wouter Vrancken said this about Shved last week:

"I don't feel like I should be wasting my time on him anymore. The players and staff have done everything they can to include Shved in the squad, but he puts himself above the group.
He regularly arrives late and even pretends not to be here.
The staff and the players have talked to him several times and I spoke to him in private, I also addressed him in the group. But we haven't got a response.
Well, it stops now. If he wants to be a loner, he can. Go play billiards for the rest of his life or something.
He doesn't want to belong in this group where everyone jumps through fires for each other. He is introverted, but his arrogance makes it worse.
There are many players in football who have not got the best out of their career, despite all their talents And the way Shved is going, this will happen to him too.
If these comments get a response from him and make something click in his head, then so much the better and we will have a high-quality player on our hands."

Tim spot on those 3 players would have took us to the ten but we went down the cheap option.
