If the board backs NL, then for me this has to happen. As unpopular as it will be on here, julien and Duffy have to be paired together in front of barkas and stick with it until transfer window. Brown has to drop out and may only be used one game in 3 max. If team plays well then he doesn't need to play. If Turnbulls isolation period is up then he has to play 3 full games- RC, Milan, StJ. We need to create a spine. Other positions should be filled on merit and based on opposition. But need to keep spine together. My choice would be.

Cal-mac
Turnbull
Eddie

Going by that I'd put elhamed rb, Taylor lb, Christie rm, moi lm and ayeti as st.

Duffy is slower than a horse with no legs. Ajer is a cracking player and seems to be one of a few that actually show passion on the pitch.

It’s not going to happen but I would play Ajer at right back.
And I would try and make a 4-4-2 formation work.

Spot on mate. The spine of the team is weak and disjointed.

The stats don't lie when it comes to the goalies. Barkas is ahead by a mile.

I'd put Duffy and Julien together at CB with Laxalt and Elhamed at FB.

I'd put Ajer in at CDM with McGregor and Turnbull ahead of him.

Moi and Christie either side of Edouard.

Ajer could easily play that role. Drop into a back 3 when needed like brown did in Rodgers first year. More height and power through the middle of the team and at set pieces.

Ajer has been our best CB this year and that's saying something about our standards. Duffy should be no where near the 1st 11. Agree with BB about a 442 but would also like to see a 433. We have the players for it:

Buzz; we have both suggested Ajer at Rb as he showed at Pittodrie last season - or midfield, where his tackling, energy and ball-carrying would be an ideal replacement for the spent Broony.
Unfortunately the manager's thoughts and plans are at least misguided and at worst rigidly incompetent.
