Ed, one of the posters last night eluded that Dermot Desmond had called a surprise meeting after the Sevconians game, I appreciate meetings are probably held all the time but have you heard any rumours regarding this . Also Nicky Hammond was getting praise regarding his signings etc, but as much as I thought I’d give him time Barkas is looking like a waste of money . I’ve only seen him making saves in one game this year, the rest of the time he just seems to pick it up and roll it out to his centre back 5 m away from him.
I wonder even if the players have confidence in him, unless he saves everything in training .

I wouldn’t say Barkas has caused any goals by making mistakes and needs more time with the master Stevie Woods.
I did think it was strange after we paid £5 million to sign Barkas that we were also looking at the Swedish goalie on loan from Roma.
It was as if they didn’t like what they seen in training with Barkas before the season started.
Celtic had plenty of cover for a goalkeeper, it was a number 1 we were looking for.

I definitely trust woods on Barkas. I do think he’s had a ropey start to his Celtic career but woods can coach him through it. It’s like a striker that’s not scoring, if he makes a good save his confidence will grow.

Every player in team has been ropey, think Lennon feeling pressure of 10,whole team looks nervous petrified of making mistakes always choosing the save option.
