Hi Guys,

I've been reading these forums for years and never felt like making an account to comment but since getting humped by the Sevies on Sunday i want your guys opinions on this possible scenario to stop the 10.

We don't win at the weekend Aberdeen takes a point or wins and we are 6/ 7 behind.
We continue to win and so do the Sevies we fall further behind because of the Scottish cup and by the January game against them we are 12/ 13 points behind and then they hump us again and we are 15/ 16 points behind going into Feb with 3 games in hand.

The league gets called and they are awarded the title like we got 9IAR, they get automatic champions league qualification and 30mil bounty to boot. Obviously Lennon gets sacked and we need to sell our best players to balance the books and rebuild our squad.
We all know we will fail to qualify through the early rounds of CL qualification and will be stuck again in the Europa.

My final thought is we should bin NFL now, go for Rafa Benitez someone that can set up a team properly and End their resurgence now.
Maybe they bottle it again and we pull clear but with no winter break to save us this time and us going to be a minimum 3 games behind them by December why risk it?

Sorry for such a long post HH.

A lot of good points in your first post kingDanny. There is definitely a nightmare scenario ahead unless we suddenly find some leadership and form soon. Forget Milan I'm not really interested in that competition any more, this double header with Aberdeen could make or break everything. If we don't get wins in both NL will be the fall guy I think. As you say we simply can't afford to drop 2 or 3 points and even winning if we get knocked out of the cup there will be hell to pay. Its not just Sevco who will be smelling blood at the moment the way we are playing!

First of all the this years Champions don’t go straight into next years CL so your getting ahead of yourself of trying to bag £30 million.
And the winter break has never saved Celtic as you put it because every club had a winter break.

Based on Current coefficients this years champions will go straight into the CL with the 2nd placed team going into round 2 of CL qualifying, and we all know if that is us we have no chance.

No they don’t your wrong.
The Champions this season got into next seasons CL 3rd qualifying round.
The Scottish Champions of season 2021/ 22 season go straight into the CL of season 2022/ 23 season.
