I haven’t heard any rumours but wonder if Duff saw some things that he wasn’t happy about before deciding to leave.

We have a Duff at the club if you take the Y off our centre half’s name, I honestly can’t see what all the fuss was about him he’s just awful.

I think a lot of it is too with the transfer being dragged out so long that most where just happy to eventually get him in. oh and he plays for the Republic, which seems to make him an automatic superstar.

Agreed I don't understand what all the buzz surrounding him was, he just looks average at best to me.

Hi Ed, i saw that his wife an kids hadn’t moved up with him. I take it that they decided that it wasn’t working. I just thought that maybe if he wasn’t happy about some things that it could have helped him make the decision. As i said, I hadn’t heard anything and was probably grasping at straws.

{Ed007's Note - Nah It was just his family that made him leave, Duff was very happy in the job and is disappointed things didn't work out. I wouldn't rule him out returning at some point in the future - maybe when his kids are a bit older.}
