just a wee thought guys. i know were neeeding a left wing back. now this is just a thought how do youse think frimpong would do on the left i know he is right sided but does any one know if he is ever played on left and is comfortable with it. ed007 do you have any in put on this mate. if he was good there wee could have.

{Ed007's Note - According to transfermarkt.co.uk Frimpong can play as a LB as well and did so for Man City youths 18 times, 8 times as a RM/RW and bizarrely at CB once. I certainly wouldn't be against trying him on the other side against certain teams to start with, in the modern game your fullbacks and wingers should be able to swap sides imo. Tactically we'd need a left footed wide player (Mikey Johnston?) because Frimpong would be cutting inside rather than try to hit the byline for crosses because Elyounoussi likes to come in from the wing rather than get it wide.}

Watched wee mickey lots in the development squad. Cracking wee player. Combination of injuries and body development has prevented him from kicking on. He will definitely get chances to prove himself as Celtic think he's a player and if he only needs to remove Elyanoussi its not much competition he's up against.

was man city using him more often on the left then ed007. its worth a bash then mate. i think the left side is were we really are lacking.

He just strikes me as a daft wee boy. Needs to bulk up and learn to pass a bit more. No doubt there's bags of talent there though. Fitness seems a concern also.
