At least I've won everyone at work a few Bob by tipping the Hungarians to win at 9/ 1 so shouldn't expect too much of a ribbing tomorrow morning. We get beat by the same bang average pish every season and the same old story is playing people out of position in the qualifiers. The board will never learn and having an inept manager in charge also who never seems to learn doesn't help the cause either. This isn't a "Lennon out" knee jerk reaction to losing I was always one for never wanting Lennon in in the first place. Overall I'm not too bothered I'd rather we never had europe at all this season and just focused on delivering at least the league which is our main priority this season.

We knew we were not good enough for the real CL, but when you look at the way we went out (this season and last) it's pretty pathetic.
You don't get much better than one-off home tie to progress and we failed miserably from the directors failing to bring in the quality that has been lacking for so long, then a manager who is repeatedly out-thought and out-manoeuvred to the players who never learn and make the same mistakes (especially in defense) again and again.
How many games now has the manager taken far too long to alter the tactics/ personnel as if he is waiting for some Divine Intervention.
