Whats the deal with Klimala and soro 5.5 million on these 2 players who clearly were not ready for the first team.

Eddy was a bit 'raw' but the potential was very evident and being our most expensive signing came with a slight burden but high hopes.
The January signings were meant to 'hit the ground running' in NL's own words, but along with Shved and Bayo, we are still waiting.
I sincerely hope we see some encouraging signs pre-season - along with a few quality additions to set the bar for a banner season.

Eddy wasnt our most expensive signing when he first came in. He sat on the bench for quite a while before properly breaking in to the team.

what gives you that feeling.
big jump for both of them soro lad great signing hope he gets a chance but the only way that will happen is if calmac broony etc play poor get injured or leave, but those two want the ten so will play for it,
as for Klamila not seen much of him at least give him a year he's got something give it time lenny bought both for the future but in the end both never really got a chance as lenny had got the tactics spot on.

{Ed007's Note - Lennon didn't have anything to do with either Soro or Klimala signing.}

That's the thing that gets to me - "he wasn't my signing so I'll not play him". Does it really matter? After all the Manager is an employee of the company and would show a failure to follow a reasonable request to carry out an instruction given. The Manager knows that players may not be to his specification - he should be bringing out the best to ALL in his charge and not just a chosen few.

{Ed007's Note - It isn't Neil Lennon's job to sign players - we've been through this a million times - he'll have an input on the type of players we need but it's Hammond who decides who to scout etc and Hammond & Lawwell decide who we sign.}

I'm aware of that Ed but the number of times we see " he wasn't my player" or "I didn't know he was coming in" is totally irrelevant. I've had staff in who I didn't interview but we've got to get the best out of everyone - irrespective of who brings them in. Can't remember who signed Derek Riordan and not sure exactly why WGS didn't play him if he was fit enough to be selected for permanent benchwarming. It's not that he wasn't good enough. Was WGS trying to sicken him?

{Ed007's Note - I'm not sure it's like that, Lennon knows that score with signings and remember Hammond isn't only bringing in players for here and now but also for the longer term, players that might need 6 months or a year to push for the first team.
Look at Frimpong as an example, there's no way he was brought in as a first-team player. He got a shot at training with the first team and done so well Lennon had to promote him, other take time to develop.
Riordan's attitude stank and if the rumours are true messing about the Gaffer's daughter when you're going out with her isn't a good idea.}
