That's Jonny Hayes off now that his contracts up, sometimes you need players in the squad who aren't the best technically but can do the dirty work and put a shift in when it matters, all the best to him he was supposedly a big influence in the dressing room according to broony and calmac.
Hopefully bolingoli will get his finger out now after being here a year and seeing what it takes every game to stay solid and consistent, definetely think the lad has the talent and just needs some coaching on the defensive side and a confidence boost.

On other news it's looking increasingly more likely that ajer will be off this summer if an offer is made, 18m being the latest number from Leicester but total paper talk imo.

One guy I would love for us to go for if ajer is left is abou cisse of olympiakos, absolute beast at 6ft 6in and an out and out defender, him and jullien would be some partnership.
Arsenal were supposedly after him last summer for 10m but seems to be just a rumour, none the less would love us to push the boat out for him like we did with jullien if ajer does go.

Hayes had the heart of a lion but unfortunately always looked like an Aberdeen player in a Celtic shirt. As for Bolingoli I think we need to write that off as bad business. Don't think he'll ever come good.

Hayes came in from the cold a few times and done a good job.
He seemed to raise his game in the big matches.
Lenny liked to play him in hard away matches including Europe.
He will be 33 in July and will be looking for one last contract lasting a couple of years.
A one year extension would not have been any good to Johnny.
It is hard for a forward player to keep that momentum up when they are in their 30s
So the fact that Johnny could help the club out at left back was a bonus for both parties.
I wish Johnny all the best for the future.

Wasn't the biggest fan of him playing LB but forgot he had a dislocated shoulder and was strapped up and put the shift in he did against Sevco. Wasn't always the best player but gave his all and always seemed to be the player kicked all over the park. Commendable attitude. With him and Moi off and likely Hickey coming in we definitely need a new LW as Mickey can't be trusted to be first choice with his injuries.
