Just want to say. there has been talk recently of whether or not Brendan Rodgers would be welcomed back to Paradise for celebrations, should we achieve 10IAR. NOT FOR ME. I am a decent chap and wish no ill will to anyone. However, if I saw BR in the street I would pass him by. He is a crackin' manager and class operator, however I cannot forgive.

MON on the other hand. Now, that man is CLASS! Met him in the number 7 years ago. My pal was going through a hard time asked him to sign a card for her. He stood for 10 minutes thinking what to write. MON is aCeltic legend. BR (What a brilliant job he did) is not.

I would welcome Brendan back.
Although the way he left us wasn’t nice, I still think we should look at what he achieved.
Brendan wasn’t the best at signing players but he was a good coach and manager.
He basically took Ronnie’s team and turned them into the Invincibles.
When we won the league at Tynecastle, only Sinclair was his player. The 10 other players had played the previous season.
I think he took us to another level which will guarantee Celtic 10 In A Row,
and for that, I will always be grateful.

There are Judas's in all walks of life - especially football. Rodgers, Kenny Miller, Mo Johnson. All had one thing in mind - there selves. They are mercenaries but the one thing that stands out is that they are winners. If they do what they do to the best of their abilities then the team benefits too. They chase the dollar and if that motivation makes them better then sobeit. Would I want Rodgers back? To be honest, why not, the guy's a winner.

I would also welcome back Brendan Rodgers. I hated the way he left like every other Celtic fan but he also gave me some of my best memories as a fan aswell and for me the many positives of his tenure outweighs the negative departure. I would be quite happy to see him return one day as manager again.

Another good post from Rayman. Maybe it's me. Maybe I should be more forgiving. Not being funny. I shall contemplate.

{Ed007's Note - I wonder if everyone would be so forgiving if we hadn't won the league last year?}

He should be snubbed, they way he snubbed us.

Not for me. I respect everyone’s opinion and have no problem with people welcoming him back but it’s a big NO from me. In my opinion the timing of when he decided to leave put 8 in a row in jeopardy. People will say he left us with an 8 point lead but there was still a lot of football to be played. What also sticks in my throat is how he constantly told us he was in his dream job yet jumped ship as soon as Leicester came calling. They say times a healer well if that’s I case I need more time 😂.

He’s a rat end of. Wanted to gut us of our entire back room staff. He left get him tae France and he can stay there.
Will be the same fans that chased the bunnet out all those years ago that want the rat back.

It's Danny MGrain I worry about. Has Neil told him his job is safe. Rodgers had 11 games to be immortalised with a Treble Treble. His choice was English Mediocrity which is fair enough but all the Celtic is my team nonsense we got. No Celtic man leaves with 11 games to go. It's a no for me.

not for me. the way he left and tried to take our whole back room staff with him the team morale could have collapsed and we could be sitting on 1 in a row just now because of him walking out when he did he had no care about that at all it was all about him getting to Leicester as quick as possible.

Danny McGrain has a job for life an absolute gentleman why wouldn’t his job be safe?

He is not doing anything any one of us wouldn't do.
Going to a bigger and better company and massive wage rise.
Its kinda hypocritical to say otherwise im sure we all have done it in our lives.

Ad crawl over broken Glass to play for Celtic and have done it for nothing. A so called fan doesn’t walk out on the club they claim to love. He’s a Judas and always will be in my eyes. Was a great coach but he’s a nobody now. Only way is down after celtic.

I don't like the way he walked out on us but by the same token I will always be grateful for the double trebles he achieved the two years previously.
In his first year in charge I thought we played some of the best football that we'd played in years so I have to be grateful to him for that.
If we reach the ten then I would be happy to give him a round of applause along with Neil Lennon and Ronny Deila as all three of them played a part in reaching the milestone.

Campsite boy,
Your not serious. My post was obviously about Rodgers saying "I said to Danny as long as I am here you have a job. Then Danny denied it happened. Rodgers played us like a fiddle with what turned out to be empty words.
