Well that was nerve wracking for a while there. Glad we were able to turn it up a notch and get the job done on what was a terrible playing surface. Good result.

The weather, pitch and a huge downer on Thursday; but The Bhoys held it together and got the important win - into the semi-final.
It was a tough game and although Saints were much better organized than in our previous games, we still dominated and created plenty.
Missed chances have been an issue for a while and that will sort itself out when everything clicks back into place - no mistake.
We have now won 34 cup-ties in a row no matter how we have played and that is an absolutely amazing achievement in itself.
However, if any other team on the planet was going for a record quadruple treble (one of them totally invincible) in 3 tournaments) , they would be making documentaries, penning lyrics for songs and negotiating 'movie rights'.
Like Big Billy said;'There is a Fairy Tale about this club'.

I didn't see the match but after Thursday's disappointment I was delighted with the result
By the sound of it the pitch was terrible so the result was all that mattered.
