ED, just wanted to ask your thoughts on Shankland and the prospect of him at Celtic? Would you think he'd be good enough? Definetley looks like a great player.

{Ed007's Note - If he was going to be 3rd or 4th choice I'd take him but apart from that it's a no from me, at 24 (25 this year) he's hardly a youth with potential and his career has been peaks and troughs with the peaks always being in the lower divisions. Scoring goals in the 3rd and 2nd divisions in Scotland doesn't impress me.}

Why do people believe the myth that if you can score a lot of goals at one level you can do it at every level.

If shankland was knocking them in for our development squad, everybody would be wanting Lenny to give him a chance, and that’s a lower level than the championship.

@souny1888 If Shankland was still in our development squad at his age I'd be raging at our coaches. if the boy was say 18 or 19 then sure he would be worth the gamble but at nearly 25 it's a no from me.

No be that if he’s at united next season and bagging them in the premier league. Then gets his move down south, Lawwell will be getting it in the neck for no signing him. The boys a goalscorer, who knows the game here. Signing a wee nobody from Poland is more of a risk than shankland!
