Naismith eh what are you doing? thank God we never took as our manager. omg I stopped watching when that Diddy was in charge mcleish and he is no better. come on really I hate international it's crud we never get anywhere those days are well gone. think about being a manager is my players going to get injured. we don't have the resources to field a team. they don't help them thrown to the lions and England pump all the bottom teams. it's a joke, bring back the home nations then we can bounce, but we can't compete in this level. it's an embarrassing to the players and the nation. there is nobody hardly going compared when it was the hampden roar it's a purr now, sad.

Edg, that is why we aren't competing in CL.

It's this mentality of having a Devine right to be there that costs us all the time.

Celtic and Scotland fans are always full of hope and automatically assume we should beat "minnows" from all theses "diddy" places.

Football has changed and it's about time we ALL accept, the level we are really at.

Can Scotland make a major tournament? Probably

Can Celtic make a mark in a CL group AGAIN? Probably

But we have no right just to expect it to happen. It's going to take a hell of a lot of seriously hard work.

It doesn't just happen anymore.

As for Scotland it’s no happened for years. Clarke will soldier on and eventually get sacked, another manager will come in a promise to to his best and so on and so on
Meanwhile the people who run our game will continue as per usual.
A Major overhaul of training facilities, school training, development programmes, real funding, better lowere. League set ups, scholarships etc.
Maybe invest now and we’ll see a major international tournament again before I kick the bucket.
I remember when I was wee and Scotland had just qualified for five majors in a row. Good times but I thought that was the norm. Well all this glorious failure nonsense has warped the mindset of a country.
Concentrate on the next generations I say.

Edg, there you go we are get compared to San Marino who England play the system is all wrong and the team is getting hammered not just competing. so where is it going wrong? surely the higher people should address this problem. other national teams have sorted out there problems we have went backwards not forward.

that's 2 games and not even scoring or making any chances and we have players who play for top teams so what can be done. we always have pride and thought we would do well, but over the last few years it's been not good enough. the higher people need to get this sorted, all we are doing is turning up to make up a game, knowing the top teams are well in front, it's no good.
