Why aren't we even considering bidding 10 11 mil for wanyama, sick of this club policy when it comes to transfers us not buying proven experienced quality with julien being the acception i think is what's costing us in europe. Seems like the clubs maybe pondered buying him and thought scratch that after buying julien it wouldn't exactle break the bank, they've had a bid of 7 mil acceqpted for kent that swedish boy for 4.That's like us spending 25mil on a few players comparingmoney in the bank their manager even said they can't afford him yet the've still went out and got him. Have to say with wanyama the total machine in the middle of the park and colossal julien at the back and the likes of eddy christie forest etc i'd have been confident of beating any team in europe at home again.

HE got offered 65k a week at Brugge if the media is the be believed. If celtic get him for free then maybe they could create a package that includes a high signing on fee or loyalty bonus to keep his wage down to highest earner brown / Sinclair. No way they would pay 65k a week because brown will more than likely be contracted to having the top wage matched. And no way even more would they pay 60k plus as well as 10m in transfers. Not in a month of Sunday’s.

I think you are looking at this all wrong, it’s not the 10-11 million fee, what about the 65k Wanyama is on week? No way can we afford that kind of salary. I’m glad we have a wage structure etc as wages are just getting out of hand, actually it’s disgraceful the money in football at the moment. HH.

Wanyama is not returning to Celtic. it was never even an option.
Also the Taylor deal is dead in the water unless Celtic up the money . Miller is the stumbling block as he doesn’t want to go there!

Again with the messing about in the transfer window! Yesterday’s game was great and the team were outstanding but we’re still needing a couple more to help the squad out! A left back is a must!

Am I mental to think that Wanyama might take a wage cut to join Celtic though if we attempted to sign him on a permanent
It’s all hypotheticals and conjecture of course.
We could pay the fee and he’d be in the highest earning bracket naturally.
We did push the boat out with Robbie Keane and were allegedly paying him what? 65k a week wasn’t it? Not sure why people think this couldn’t ever happen, it’s very unlikely but never say never as they say.

Danny how is it Celtic messing about when a deal was arranged but then players blocking it?
