Sorry but all this "we will miss Tierney" gets my goat, first we have survived months without his services.
In my eyes there is no difference between him and Rodgers, both "self confessed Celtic fans" but both chased the big bucks in England.
When he leaves, Celtic will pocket the cash and hopefully use some of it to buy a replacement.
As for this Celtic fan? Kieran who? forgotten him already.

He isn't chasing money he is chasing success. Playing here at Celtic he can only progress so far and he has probably reached the peak while at Celtic. If he wants to get better he needs to play better opposition week in week out. I wish him the best but your right we will be fine without him. Plenty of class players have do e the same and we still continue to thrive.

Tim, your negative attitude towards Tierney is ridiculous. Stick to your fantasy stories about your Sevco mates. HH.

Cory67, save your energy. There is no point trying to explain a totally sensible point of view like yours to the ignorant folk who don't want to understand. HH.

I have no issue with Tierney going, however i would have hoped for slightly more due to age, contract length and likeihood he will end up at a better club within 3 years.

He is different to Rodgers, he worked hard to become 1st choice, he played a crazy amount of games in his first 2 full seasons which is probably a cause for his injuries now and he gave Celtic many years of service overall - its been mutually beneficial.

Lastly he did not sneak out the back door, it has been common knowledge Tierney was available since the start of the summer, if anything it has been yet another oversight by the board not to have someone in to cover the transfer.

He goes with my blessing as did Wanyama, Van Dijk, Hooper and all others that gave Celtic a good service and reputation for developing players and selling them for a profit.

I hope he goes onto become a world star and promotes his time at Celtic, hopefully attract more youths and promising stars to come to Parkhead.

Just because he is leaving doesn't make him a snake.

Joke of a post Timalloy. You think players should stay at Celtic simply because it’s celtic? Go back to your “ex bears” ramblings. No wait, don’t bother as they are boring as well.

I'm a big fan of you Timalloy but this is absolutely ridiculous, mate. Can't be tarring KT with the same brush as Rodgers. You'll be the first with a wee stauner the day he re signs to see out his career with us.
