celtic DIEHARD tiereny on way to arsenal turns back on chance to be part of a historic moment and become a club legend for his boy hood club a life long dream of all fans. to go and play for the mighty arsenal. definitely same category as Rodgers for me. many will agree many will not.

Disagree 100% KT needs to move IMO it will take his game to the next level playing against better players in the premier league. He will only stand still staying in spl.

I agree with you, he could easily have stayed for the 10 and then went to the Premiership as he would still be young.

Its capitalism, UI, and it sucks--but man, this 'football' lark makes assets out of lumpwood. KT best play the system and check his heart while he has the chance--as I honestly believe Rodgers did. In the words of Stringer Bell: 'this is forever money': his family will be set for a generation in a time of Tory austerity. Right? Don't mean to get political--but who is Celtic FC to get in the way of that?

HH.

Loyalty only goes so far. 75k a week (rumoured) ? You'd turn that down?

I totally agree, I've said time and time again if you were a supporter of a football club, you got the chance to play for, earn a great living from, could potentially be captain of, then even contemplating a move away would be for greed and greed alone.
However if the board have been adamant they wanted the sale of KT to help fund strengthening the team then the lad is not at fault, I just want to know is it him or is it the board? And will we spend the cash?

God 🤦🏼‍♂️
Can still be a diehard!
9 or 10 in a row. in a rubbish league?
It’s getting boring now, not 1 person outside of it cares about it
KT has earned his move, let him get get on with it, OH wait he can’t. he needs to stay for mibe 9.mibe 10 or injured and move done!?
It’s football it happens.

Arsenal wouldn't have left it this long and late for a player who they didn't know was interested, Turner.

so with the majority of your coments here playing for arsenal in the epl is more appealing to youse than being part of the squad wich creates a historic moment in its history and becoming a club legend. It would fill me with pride to be a celtic legend and be part of the squad who win 10 in a row. something he had the chance to do and turned his back on it. no celtic fan would turn there back on being part of that.

14.) 07 Aug 2019

Not much difference between him and Rogers in my eyes.

15.) 07 Aug 2019
07 Aug 2019 21:50:29
Greed and greed alone is total bull****. AMBITION to be the best in the world ambition to win every trophy avalible. He will do neither at Celtic as long as we are stuck in the SPFL.

Most people will probably say you are talking nonsense but I agree with you.
How much money does one want? . Some will say it's ambition. Once he fulfilled his ambition of 10 in a row, he would still be only 24 and have plenty of time for epl.
He will still be a millionaire playing for Celtic and he could have been part of 10 in a row. I would have never believed KT would turn down the chance of making more history with Celtic for all the money in China. We were only asking for 2 more years.
He will regret his decision when he hangs up his boots and he looks back on his playing career. I will always be a KT supporter and I hope he smashes it down there, which I am sure he will and I wish him all the best.

17.) 07 Aug 2019
07 Aug 2019 22:44:13
It's easy to say that he will only be 24 but what happens if a player ends his career like John Kennedy Leon?
The way the refs are letting the tackles fly in on him would that surprise any of us?

Got to be candidate as the worst post of the season already.

@bravetart86 how worst post mate because you don't agree with it. think if ye take a look he has annoyed a lot of people with him banging on about being mr celtic then asking for a move going into a 9iar season.

every celtic fan would give there right arm to be part of this squad going into a 9iar season and he is walked away from it, no better than Brendan if ye ask me.

Brendan took stick for banging on about being mr celtic then jumping ship first chance so why is kt different. wish the boy well down south but I feel disappointed in him. when ye support celtic ye support a cause and this cause has a 2 year battle a head to reach 10 and he's walked away from it.

Catch a grip. None of us are happy about it but things moves on. There was life after Jinky, Dalglish and Larsson and there will be life after Tierney.
