Can someone please explain to me why Simpson and Hatem Elhamed are better players than O'Donnell and Kerr. Apart from being older.

Well Simpson had played most his career at a much higher level including 213 in the EPL plus about 100 in English championship.
In that time he’s won the epl, the championship twice and the play off final.
O’donnell Has hit the hits of Patrick thistle, Luton and Kilmarnock winning the sfl 1st title.

That answer your question?

Mika Lustig looks a fine option at right back in this context.

Yes and he is 32 yrs old if that is the case perhaps we should ask Danny McGrain if he wants to play RB.

Playing your career at a supposedly much higher level, in no way, is a reflection on how much better you are than a player, who, at the moment, is playing at a supposedly, lower level,

If he is still fit what does age matter really.

Only thing we should be asking is he good enough?

The answer O'Donnell and Kerr is no they are not and never will be. They will never reach the heights of Simpson's career.

The Danny Mcgrain comment is just stupid because your comparing a guy that's playing at a high level to a guy that's in his 70s.

Our captain is 2 years older than this guy and our most dangerous midfield is 2 years younger.

Danny Alves is 36 and is still the best right back in the world. Age is irrelevant if the player looks after themselves.
