Know this is going to sound like a conspiracy theory but things have niggled me for years. Ok, hard hat on.
Could our board and club see our continued dominance as bad for business and commercial reasons. In reality, after oldco fell on their sword, we should and could have been out of sight without too much effort. instead it seems to be just enough will do.
Looking back, sevco cheating has documented evidence, nothing done from our club. SFA complicity in sevco cheating has documented evidence, yet again, nothing done from our club. Res 20 had to be instigated by our shareholders, club done here haw. That's been with the SFA for a while, put on the back burner and would appear the gas has gone out. Yet again our club don't seem interested. All the refereeing and compliance issues left club looking very impotent
Now the latest, and this isn't just about Lennon, it's about the fact the CEO stated that they didn't even bother to look at other potential candidates, that is unforgivable.
Would really love to know why our is so quiet on so many explicit rule breaking issues and why we just seem to be bereft of any ambition. I just have nagging feeling that for ulterior motives our club doesn't want to be too far in front.

There's a deep rooted anger and frustration with many Celtic supporters at the way Celtic appear to accept and tolerate much of what you mention above; plus not taking refereeing 'issues' all the way, or challenge slanted and fake media reporting of our club.
I don't know if it's because the club is enjoying such a successful period? As there seems to be a strong reluctance to avoid conflict?

I sent a similar post a couple of weeks ago. I reckon we could easily put ourselves out of sight but it's not good for the league apparently. As long as we keep winning the league I'll be happy enough however if we don't win it there will be no excuses and I'm certain many fans will demand answers. Does the board want 10 in a row? You would think that with Scotland only having 1 Champions League place they should make sure we win it every season for the foreseeable future.

On a related note, I see Newcastle are rumoured to be bought by the man City owners cousin. It makes me wonder why we're not interesting these people as it will be much harder for Newcastle to qualify for the Champions League than Celtic. Not that I'd like us to sell out like the man cities of this world.

We're not of interest to the foreign investors because we're not in the EPL cash cow.

That's my point though. Newcastle for example are going to find it tough to get into the champions league competing with Man City, Liverpool, Spurs, Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal. Celtic on the other hand are at least guaranteed the qualifying rounds and decent investment would ensure we get there year on year.

Yeah but you could say that for a few team's I personally think it's more to do with being in the EPL say what you want about the standard it gets huge marketing coverage to make it look more appealing than it actually is I'm not sure I would want one of these foreign mega rich people coming in and changing stuff like the guys that bought Cardiff and changed the colour of the strip although I wouldn't say no to Desmond opening the purse strings a wee bit.

Finishing in the top 15 odd of the EPL makes more money than getting to the final of Champions League . The EPL is so full of money that laundered money is easily washed.
