Anno the ed and some on here think defoes not great but I always thought he was a good finisher and scored regularly obviously the last few years he's not played much but if sevco can get him fit he might do ok all the more reason we get this window right.

Like has been already stated by others, if our club does what it should, then what others do will be irrelevant. Anyway, we should welcome competition to drive us forward and if we’re not up to it we’ll get what we deserve. Can’t moan about other clubs sense of entitlement if we don’t sort our own issues.

I think if anything, them signing Defoe is just a big statement of intent, regardless of whether he turns out to be a dud signing or not. This signing for Rangers, and the rest of the transfer business they are trying to push through this window should be taken as serious sign of them trying challenge for the title this season and should be forcing Lawell and the board in to taking some serious action this window.

You have to look on the bright side. If Celtic don't get the next 2 transfer windows correct and ultimately blow 10 in a row. It will be a lot easier to get away tickets. Every cloud.
