Before i start i know we won the treble last year.

However, this situation has been coming since last season. As was said in commentary we played Bitton as the back last season. We also struggled to break teams down, especially at home. And it was always side to side, going nowhere passes. Remember tonight when Griff one the ball 25 yards from goal and it ended up with Gordon. Once Mousa came on and we played more direct we looked a threat.

Can I also point out, Erik was at least equal to, if not better than Boyata, Hendry and Jozo.

I wasn’t Eric’s biggest fan, however what he didn’t have in mobility he more than made up for in positional sense (see Hendry) and concentration (see Jozo) .

Definitely not the answer, but definitely shouldn’t have been the first one out.
