@Stan Petrov I will take the age joke on the chin, anyway ED007 already thinks I was the "first original" Celtic fan lol
Just to confirm I am methusala I can even remember the first time the
CHEERIO CHEERIO chant originated (Old Bhoy will probably back me up)
It was at Ibrox in the late sixties/ early seventies (my old brain forgets which lol) we were giving the huns their usual pumping, when we noticed their "loyal" fans leaving in droves so me and my mates and about 20 others just burst into Waving and singing Cheerio Cheerio and next thing the WHOLE BROOMLOAN ROAD STAND took up the chant and waving as well, the faces on the huns leaving was a picture in the enclosure and even the police were amazed.

Good evening bhoys loving all the old songs. loved "we've won the league again, fly the flag" for the first time singing that in the jungle I'm sure it was after easter road 77, it was a take off (pardon the pun) of the British airways tv ad at the time.
Someone mentioned Peter Latchford, do amy of the older bhoys here remember the time late 70's when we came out at Paradise for 2nd half think it was v Motherwell. the big man was 1st on the pitch and went straight on to the goals at the Rangers end as habit (as we almost always did) but we lost the toss that day and started opposite end. he disnt realise until he turned round at the goals then had to jog to the other end. he had a pure beamer you could see from every part of the stadium! !
