Celtic look to have negotiated a decent loan deal for Barkas as Utrecht are rumoured to be paying 2/ 3 of his salary.
Although there is no option to buy Celtic are keen to offer Barkas a one year extension, in the hope if he is a success in Holland we will get bigger transfer fee.

Unless he has an absolute blinder over there we shouldn't even be giving a second thought to extending his deal. Even then, it's a big gamble.
