A rumour and there may be a few, Ryan Sessengone, Spurs, don't see it, has been getting game time with them, think we showed interest before.

Before the start of the transfer window there was a lot of talk of the CCV loan being made permanent with the completion of a loan for Matt Doherty being included. Injuries took over and Conte is now playing Doherty as first choice right back. It’s strange to see that we have not completed the CCV Transfer, given that he has publicly said he wants to come. So maybe we need to take somebody else from them to sweeten the deal.

{Ed007's Note - CCV is concerned about his chances of getting into the US national team playing in Scotland, Mal, some assurances from them would help get a permanent deal over the line.}

Has Ange not not said we won't sign someone unless the player was available and they were to good to turn down.
I don't think any of the players mentioned come into that category.

If a loan for sessengon was viable I have no doubt ange would take him till the summer.

I’d have liked to see CCV and Jota both signed permanently, and if we win the title it’ll definitely strengthen our hand, my concern is if we for one reason or another don’t sign them, that would be a major setback to what ange is building come the summer…… trying to replace those two like for like would be massive, hopefully it won’t come to that…… hopefully playing in Scotland wouldn’t effect CCV in terms of playing in the American national side, but as Ed says some assurances from them and get the lad signed up.

@garry i think replacing CCV would be easier than jota. jota would be very hard to replace like for like one of the best players iv seen at Celtic in a long time. soon as he is on the ball he makes things happen.

I would be expecting his former teammates, CCV and Joe Hart to be telling Ryan to get himself to Glasgow and enjoy playing for such a brilliant club,
