If that loan fee is true then for me wee add a million to that and go get the Croatian lad fae legia Warsaw. Spending £2.5 million on a loan RB makes absolutely no sense.

I agree about buying our own player as a loan just postpones the problem. In the meantime, Ralston has upped his game and although we need more quality additions, it gives us time to find the right permanent players for the right positions.

I would have to say I couldn't imagine Ralston being a player to be honest The past 4 or 5 games has made me eat my words. What a difference from last year and in such a short time under Ange now we are looking for a back up for Ralston rather than a replacement but we definitely need a backup in this window for him.

Remember Ralston only signed a year extension so he is free to sign a pre contract in Jan maybe that has got him to get his finger out but I agree what a huge difference in the bhoy.

Would rather we got in Juranovic as he fixes our problem rather than a loan with no buy option. Juranovic looked solid from what I seen of him at the Euros too.

Don't feel convinced by this if I'm honest, might be a good young player but it's not what we need at the moment. We need defenders in with a decent level of experience who can handle expectation especially against better teams in Europe.
The thing that worries me with the targets that have been mentioned are that they all seem to be on the small stature side, this young boy, the creation and buta, none of them are above 5 ft 8.
This might week well in an attacking sense but I've always had the concept that defenders are there to defend first and attack second. Even starfelt is only 6ft 1 which isn't the biggest for a centre half and this Japanese boy we've been linked with is the same.
We all know how bad we were with set pieces last season but if we play against better teams and deal with crossed balls into the box it doesn't bode well if they're that small trying to defend them.

Ive said before and its all about opinions but we need stronger defensively and more of a threat in attack.
