Dunno if there is any truth in this but heard from a mate that Celtic are in talks with Sheff Utd for David McGoldrick apparently £1.5m taking it with a pinch of salt myself, what do you guys think if it was to happen?

Seen him a few times and he rarely scores; I would say he is on a level with Burke and McBurnie IMO.

Please only be a rumour. I'm all for Irish lads getting a chance only if they are good enough. Can't see him score the goals we need next season and I've seen a lot of David over the years and it's a straight no for me. Celtic can do a lot better.

I’d take him but what I’ve seen of him I wouldn’t say he’s a lone striker he’d have to be partnered up with someone and I wouldn’t say he’s our Edouard replacement but he’d certainly put a shift in and I could see him grabbing goals in the SPL, but why not go a million or so higher and take Nisbet who you could profit on? That’s my only question.
