Ian McGarryr eporting that Celtic have had 3 meetings with Howe and he has not put pen to paper.

I won't bang on about the pros and cons of Eddie Howe. However, what I will say is the board are going to look stupid if they do not get him now.

The fans are prepared to wait for the right man but will be displeased if they wait over 3 months and then Celtic appoint a diddy. I would stro gly suspect a fan backlash if that were to happen.

The Board lost all credibility many months ago and have made no attempt to appease or even inform the support of much needed info. Over the years Celtic Boards have been much more focused on profit, bonuses, selling our most valuable players and real estate investment than on-field requirements and improving the squad - and here we are.

LAW no one seems to know what’s going on it’s ment to be a done deal then someone says it’s not . It’s all here say at the moment. I was all for waiting to make sure we get the right man in but it’s getting more and more frustrating by the day . I am hoping that it’s a done deal and the rebuild has already begun behind the scenes .

After all this speculation I'm actually not convinced eddie howe is going to be the right appointment. He done well in a bournemouth team who didn't have any pressure to really perform and anything other than relegation was seen as a successful season during his time there, to go from that to celtic where the demands to win every match and get into Europe is too far a jump for him if I'm honest.

I might get shut down for this but personally I would rather take a chance on frank lampard if he would consider it. Played at the top for many years and has great experience playing in Europe as well as a season of managerial experience with Chelsea in the CL. I didn't think he got enough time at Chelsea but his style of bringing younger players through fits our profile, and with the overhaul required at celtic park this summer with incomings and outgoings, I can't help but feel we would be in a better position to attract better quality players if it's lampard instead of howe.

I was never convinced about Howe, after all this time he looks like he is never going to sign. I think they {The board} are waiting to get Roy Keane in.

Whilst it's true we don't have a Head Coach in place until the ink is dry on the contract, I'm confident DD will deliver. Why, because he always has.

I genuinely don't care if it's McGarry, Nicolas, Provan or anyone else in the media trying to make a living out of speculation and story telling, because that's all it is.

DD doesn't strike me as the kind of individual who engages with these people therefore I'll wait for the announcement from CP when it comes.
