Just passing on what I've heard from a couple of mates in London, Howe is being linked with Spurs. Can't see it myself but it makes me wonder what our bored are doing behind the scenes because it's going to take something special till get us all going again after this shocker of a season. I have a feeling Kennedy could get it. HH.

Not a chance that Howe will be going to Spurs and there is even less chance of Lennedy getting the Celtic job, he has had 8 games in charge so far and won 3.

I would expect Tottenham to have a higher profile man in mind and are waiting until Summer for alternative? John Kennedy, has shown virtually zero, as caretaker to suggest he has the slightest clue on managing any team, never mind Celtic - a club in total disarray.

Spurs will go more high profile I think. As for Kennedy, given the way he’s continued in the same way lennon left off I wouldn’t put him in charge of the under 18s. I accept the players are massively to blame this season, but Kennedy had 8/ 9 games roughly to try something different wether it be tactical or selection, and in the main went with the same players thatve let us down all season long . Should’ve played some of the youth, dembele etc, and should’ve gave ajeti, soro and for me even barkas the remaining games, couldn’t do much worse and he done nothing. As for Howe, if it’s not Howe then it begs the question what really is going on And if it is Howe, I seriously hope he’s working his ass off behind the scenes searching for players to bring in.

Still not confident or negative around whether Howe will get it, not really seen him linked with many other clubs lately and i don't think reports saying a deal is almost done would be there if their isn't some truth.

Garry, I’d completely agree with you regarding Howe . I’m frustrated it hasn’t been reported yet that we have him .
Like you say, if it’s not him what have the club been doing?
We all know we need a massive amount of players for next season, but if we are to go down the dof route, is it not their job to look at players and find them, and then the coach is just to utilise them . If so, I find it even more disheartening that we haven’t finalised this position.
It’s like the club is oblivious to the fans feelings and the position we find ourselves in going forward.
We really need some direction, and fast .

Quinn1888, it’s all ifs buts and maybes just now, but let’s say Howe is indeed the next manager but doesn’t want to take charge till this seasons finished, why not announce the dels done and in the meantime howe is assessing the current team and working hard looking at new recruits. surely that would appease fans rather than the deafening silence we’re getting right now.

Agree with much of the above, I personally still think it's Eddie Howe who'll take over and I hope he is indeed putting together a list of quality first team players behind the scenes.

As for Lennedy, my views on him are well known on the site, suffice to say, even the supporters he still has must now be scratching their heads at how he's performed since stepping in as caretaker manager.

Kennedy being appointed will cause a revolt that woukd lead to our gravy train board woukd be ousted. It's that bad, so they won't even consider it. Howe going to Spurs is far more likely and if they ask him, he woukd take it. 70 days. Let that sink in. 70 days and the useless barstewards on our board still haven't got him. Useless cants.
