I know you cannot rely on media talk but it seems like Howe is a) using Celtic to drum up interest in EPL or b) not got the bottle to handle the pressure.
Our Board as usual have not handled this great either, and to be truthful, I think they are waiting to see how Kennedy does against the sevvies, if he wins they will offer him the manager's job, a cheap option in their eyes, but the fans will never accept Kennedy as nothing has changed since Lennon he is part of the problem and must be removed.
IF someone of the calibre of Le Favre is genuinely interested our Board should at least talk to him and see what can be done, as the longer this drags on the weaker our Board is looking.

Surely the board aren’t that silly just to let him leave them hanging with all the rumours of palace and or Newcastle . If they had reservations surely they would be looking to go into dialogue with other managers or even look into giving it to Kennedy . The new ceo surely won’t be keen to come into this without any direction that the board are leaning towards, in fact it’s already been mentioned he was involved in the original talks with Howe so he is obviously involved already. I’d presume they know pretty much what’s going to happen either way, it wasn’t so long ado we lost the centre back to Liverpool who had agreed everything but never signed the contract . You would think they learnt their lesson then .

Tim and Mally, praise the Lord! At least there's a few of us signing from the same hymn sheet as far as JK is concerned.

I also agree with your thought's Tim on what could transpire here as far as the Managers job goes.

If Favre is available they should be speaking with him either as a possible D. O. F. or Head Coach.

i was of the opinion that JK should have walked as part of a very flawed and disjointed management team. However, I did accept that if the Board continued to be as impotent and culpable regarding the mess we are in and had not identified an immediate replacement, then it meant they had to appoint Kennedy as caretaker until such time? Initially, we were the same predictable and pedantic Celtic, although unbeaten, but in the last few games we have created nearly 100 chances and shots on goal, so our notorious Board may see this as another convenient and very cheap option? I only hope the new CEO starting in a weeks time can alleviate any such fears and anxiety?

I would go with the board making a mess of this, they have been making a mess of almost everything for 2 years or so now.
