And apparently there's a 40 % sell on fee due to psg, hope this is paper talk.

This been said before I doubt we'd pay 9 million and add that in not good business sense.

The percentage is on the profit of the sale so IF IT was 15 million it would be 6 million the percentage will be on.

35 million would be closer to the mark.

Aindoh, He's 100% worth that. But its unrealistic to expect teams to pay that with him in last year of contract, added to the fact teams don't have the same money to spend as a result of C.V. I think we will see a very different summer window to the norm.

I do struggle to believe the 40% sell on rumors' also.

I would rather hold onto him and let him go for free, than sell him and pay a lot of money for somebody else who turns out to be useless at putting the ball in the net.

That would probs be the most logical option for the fans but don't think the board will see it that way. Also think the player will force a move, wherever that may be.

Lets just hope we can pick up someone else of his caliber with the fee. 8-10m can get us quality if we recruit well.

If we hold on to him I think he will down tools and take the huff. He wants a move he's slowly missing sitters passing woefull getting kinda greedy. Sell him now.

£15 million is about for a player nearing the end of his contract and who wants out.

The £15 million will be £10 million and £5 million in clauses so Leicester (or another) would pay £1 million and £9 million over 5 years, assuming he signs a 5-year contract.

That means any pay-on clause of 40% (and I have seen figures suggesting 25% also) would be 40% of any profit based on the £10 million up front (doesn’t mean one lump sum, simply that part of the fee not subject to clauses) .

Don't think he has ever said he wants away, think that had been speculation because an underperforming team/ midfield hasn't provided any supply/ support, to Eddy, and he becomes the one that becomes criticised, whereas the real culprits get off Scot free, keep Eddy till his contract runs down, let him help us go further in Europe, when he goes shake his hand and wish him all the best,
