Latest state of play

Deal for Ryan Sessegnon fell through due to the finances involved in the deal. Club and Spurs were miles apart. Club were very much interested as was Ryan in the move but as well documented Levy and Spurs in general are a nightmare to deal with.

Actively trying to get a LB in and expect this to go right to the wire with agents trying for deals and clubs looking to offload before close of play.

Still no firm interest in any of the first team squad fully expect a few loan deals to be done going outwards involving fringe players.

Daithi, Sessegnon was NEVER going to happen due to the finances involved. It's like going into a showroom and expecting to get a brand new car for a couple of grand. Just because you ask the price doesn't mean you're going to do a deal.
Levy is a shrewd guy but that doesn't make him or Spurs a nightmare to deal with because what they're asking for Sessegnon is totally affordable for some clubs, just not us. HH.

Why woukd they not want to be linked

I think we know, on approach, that it will be unworkable

At times, the club plays to the galleries/ gullables

Games and more games and then they'll say, we tried honest . we really tried.
