Could be substance in it with the stories about Griffiths coming out. Silly of him not keeping in shape when you see Klimala putting on 3.5kg of muscle during the break only for Griffiths to come back overweight he's only going to fall down the pecking order again. Bayo doesn't look to be in the frame for a start so another striker is needed.

Hi, Ninja67, Kev83 I'm not proposing a free pass or free ride. By all means boot his baws. I just feel that a certain amount of compassion might be in order, especially as he has a record of emotional or psychological difficulties. I don't know what these are--and I don't much care. I also think the support he has received from the club seems to have been superb.

I'm just saying these are trying times. The whole country is drinking more (and probably eating more too) . He does need to get with the program now, but so long as he does I'll be happy with that.

No excuses with the magnitude of next season to turn up out of shape. The clubs been good to him over the years with his troubles off field so he should have turned up in peak condition to make up for missing a big chunk of last season. Maybe he's injured and not been able to do a great deal of training from home who knows.

cava the club has stuck with griffiths through a lot of problems. Several of his own making like the refugee chats ect but it can't go on forever. Eventually they are going to say enough is enough.
