I see a lot of rumours flying about that the Spl are about to declare the season over, declare Celtic as Champions, and not penalise clubs for going into administration.
Surely they can only wait and follow what happens in other countries?

If all the other leagues decide to finish the current season then I can't see the sense in The Scottish league starting next season at the same time. If that was the case then clubs here would need to compensate fans who have been short changed this season thus adding to each clubs debts.

I think that we should just take our lead from what every other league does and follow the same model otherwise we could be playing a different season to everyone else with all the problems that will create for European qualifications.

If that's true it wouldn't surprise me if the reason was to ensure Sevco don't get punished for going into administration.

So the football authorities would be saying it’s ok to bump suppliers and players and staff and not being punished or be made to sell all players that your club can’t afford or probably couldn’t afford but you signed anyway? The recent calls for sporting integrity seem more laughable now? 😂 what happens when loan players loan agreements run out?

I agree BB I think they are trying not to show if they believe that Servco are a new entity or not as far as I believe if a club goes into administration twice they receive 20 points deduction and if they believe they are a new club it will be 10 points So too protect them selves they may try to waiver any point deductions. Unless it's to start in the new season?

If this is true, it will because there might be a good few clubs going into administration, depending how long this virus goes on, we might not reach the peak until the start of may, and the lockdown might not be eased until the middle of June, and then the virus might come back in a second wave. I think the only way clubs can survive, including our own is to stop paying players wages, at the current rate, because if the club's keep paying wages when there is no income it will only leaf to misery as Mr Micawber said.
