On top of his shocking treatment of Hibs players, and akso Timo Weah, we have this abiut Lennon:

“We sent Oli to Celtic in good faith with Brendan Rodgers and (head of recruitment) Lee Congerton – really good people up there. They wanted Oli and I am sure they would have made him a better player.

“Once Brendan left to go to Leicester, the treatment he got from the manager in place – well, subsequently we do not expect any of our players to go anywhere near Celtic Football Club. We currently have a new manager who will start working and looking at Oli and hopefully he now has an opportunity here at Albion. ”.

Does anybody really care what WBA say or think! They put him out on loan coz he was pi** for them and low and behold he was pi** for us too!

Burke is a sub standard player who is nowhere near good enough! Must be one of the most overrated players of the last 15 years! Couldn’t give a flying f*ck what some tosser from WBA honestly!

They wasted £15m on him, didn’t know how to use him so punted him to us in hope that we would turn him into a player, and are now bitter that they’ve realised he can’t be saved.

To be fair to Oli Burke he was played out of position al the time he was at Celtic, Lenny seemed to bin all the loan players including Benkovic who was by far the best centre back we had, I said at the time clubs loan out players to gain experience and get game time and after the way Lenny handled the loan players we will be lucky to get any more, no point taking them if you don’t want to play them .

Was reading this morning that Lennon actually gave Burke more game time that Rodger did. He is a glorified sprinter that is good at running in straight lines. If he was that good then why has he been loaned out so many times with no one willing to pay decent money to keep him?

Don't let the truth get in the way of the chance to slag lenny.

Benkovic was one of our best, but the last 7 or 8 games Ajer and Simunovic were really good, so surely you build up a pairing that are ours, rather than play someone who's just going to leave. Seems really obvious not to split up 2 players playing well together.

So it doesn’t concern anyone that Lennon had to be restrained? That’s fine cos Burke was so bad? Jesus.

Exactly lenny didn't bring them in and benkovic had a long term injury which let sumo back in and he never put a foot wrong that's why benk never got a game and Burke was just crap weah weanted to leave and tohjlan was mince all Rodgers signings not lennys.

They only played him 5 times in all completions the season before last so are they treating him worse than us then?

Think if you want to criticize Lenny, you should pick another subject, rather than Ollie Burke, I was very disappointed in Lenny, not giving Scott Allan some game time, in an underperforming midfield, as Allan had performed well when Lenny was manager at Easter road, I think something must have been restraining him,

Celtic might as well of signed Usain Bolt, he is pish and not our player and hopefully never will be. Benkovic is a great dc in my opinion but we could never afford him permanently so why bother developing him for Leicester when we can develop simo and ajer. West Bitter Albion should take a look at themselves and maybe play there beloved 15mil signing a wee bit more. It's a bit rich coming from them after there treatment of Darren Moore.

Aindoh why on earth would he play Scott Allan when he already signed a pre contract to join hibs?

Maybe when the manager at West Brom plays him in the coming season they will realise why Lennon stopped playing him. When a professional can't hit an open goal from 3 yards out that might be a good reason not to play him. Look forward to seeing and hearing what he has to say when they see he us not to it and try push him out on loan again.

He was still our player, Celtic were still paying his wages, if he improved the midfield, why not play him?

Aindoh is or related to Scott Allan, guys been going on about this player for yrs, Allan was never good enough to wear the shirt.

Lennon came in and rarely played any loanees. To me that was him assessing what he had and needed replacing permenantly, don't agree with a lot of loan signings, especially when they are mince and the parent team see us as a way to give them experience rather than them playing them. I know its the only way to give younger players game time but still not a fan. Man city, psg's cast offs then maybe, west brom?

What's this Lennon had to be restrained from Burke? Is this another rumour that is doing the rounds.

Burke had a couple of good games but overall was poor. West Brom are living on another planet if they think because a player cost 15m he automatically gets game.
