Mika confirms he’s away. Terrific free transfer and loyal servant. All the best PC Lustig.

Sad to see him depart, but he did so as a fan and will come back a legend for the 10. Anyone else in Glasgow nabbing a copper's lid wouldn't live to tell the tale. Viva Mika.

Sad to see Lustig go he is a great player and a great servant to the cause.

He will still offer a lot at his next club.

See you for the 10 in a row party my friend 💚.

Perfect example of a foreign player coming here and knowing what the club means to the fans! Became a big player on and off the park for us and will be welcome back any time! Think we all knew his time was up over the last 18 months or so but I would still have liked it handled better! Wish him nothing but the best wherever he goes and I’m sure we’ll see him again sooner rather than later supporting the team!

Well done to lustig what a fantastic servant he was for Celtic. It's the right time for him to go and best of luck to him for the future.

Ain't it great seeing all these tributes to big Lustig, Halfway through the season he was getting pelters and being castigated for being slow and finished. None as fickle as football fans. Good luck to Mika wherever he goes. I for one am sorry to see him go as I thought he had rediscovered his mojo under Lennon.

The man has been a wonderful servant to our club, and all the more remarkable that we got him free. He took to Celtic very quickly and our club certainly got under his skin. He's been our lucky charm in many ways as he's known nothing but success, but if he was honest with himself he probably knew his time was coming to a close. However, in my opinion, he merited at least another years contract, and for that experience both on the field and in that dressing room would have been vital over this coming season. I'm also sad that he didn't have the opportunity to say farewell to us. He's been remarkable for us and I wish him and his family nothing but the best. Officer Lustig, we salute you.
