I've been told that Heerenveen would be willing to accept five million euros for Finnbogason plus add-ons taking the fee up to around six million euros and a 10% sell on clause.

I'd bite their hands off for that. For what I've seen he looks an ideal poacher type striker and would slot in well. We have Sammi and Balde for target men type players, though Finbogasson is no smurf.

@fab1 - I need not disclose my sources. I've been told this first hand though. Celtic have yet to make a bid but this is what Heerenveen want for the services of the player.

@fab1 - I don't need to bask in the glory nor will I be held to ridicule. I have not said that Celtic have made a bid. I have simply said that Heerenveen will accept a bid if it meets the conditions from above.

Fab1 I think it might be you who's got this one wrong. Herenveen told Werder the price was â‚¬5m and then rejected what was a bid of considerably less money. Therefore the original posters â‚¬5m plus add ons sounds right.
